Applications have now closed for the 2024 Tasmanian Legal Practice Course.

The Tasmanian Legal Practice Course is a unique Practical Legal Training course with access to outstanding support from the legal profession, judiciary, and magistracy for practical skills training, including weekly appearances in our Courts.

The Course is recognised nationally as providing excellent quality training and offers an intense practical experience unlike any other Practical Legal Training program.

It is designed to build your skills in leadership, collaboration, advocacy, and negotiation, building confidence for starting your career in the law.

The 2024 Course will commence in early February for 24 weeks. Successful graduates can expect to be admitted as a legal practitioner in August 2024 at a ceremonial sitting in the Supreme Court of Tasmania in Hobart.

The Course is supported by HECS-HELP.
