As the only Tasmanian-based legal practice course, you will receive outstanding support from the legal profession, judiciary and magistracy for practical skills training, including weekly sessions at the Supreme Court or Magistrates Court.
Our Course is conducted over 24 weeks from February to July each year and is delivered on campus, in person three days per week, with occasional additional days noted in our Key Dates.
All of our instructors and Unit Coordinators are practitioners currently working within the Tasmanian profession, community and government legal sectors, or members of the Tasmanian Bar.
We offer a unique social and collegial training environment with strong links to the Southern Early Career Lawyers’ network and unparalleled access to employment opportunities in the public and private legal sectors, often advertised exclusively to TLPC trainees.
Our trainees are provided with exceptional assistance and support through the admission process by our staff and other professional agencies, with the Supreme Court of Tasmania holding a special Admission Ceremony each year just for our graduates.
